Employment opportunity
Giambrone Law | Studio Legale Internazionale is currently recruiting for an experienced Italian lawyer (“Avvocato”) to join its busy Civil / Commercial Litigation department at its Head Office in Palermo.
We currently have two vacancies within our growing litigation team, both of which start on a 6 month basis but with very real expectations of becoming permanent for those who wish to pursue this further down the line.
The roles are focused in two broad categories: firstly, we are looking to find a junior to mid litigation Italian solicitor to concentrate on one of their major clients and matters alongside a very inspirational Head of the Litigation team. This role will involve some travel within Europe. The second vacancy is for a broader based litigation role where your experience and technical skills will be utilised on a number of different matters across a multitude of clients rather than a big ticket matter. In general the duties are very similar, utilising the knowledge and experience of a good litigator.
The ideal candidates will be fluent in both written and spoken English. Previous experience in an international law firm context or overseas will be considered as a distinct advantage. Applicants must be able to work on contentious files independently and handle their own caseload under the supervision of the Head of the Litigation team.
We would like to hear from applicants with a minimum of 3 years PQE and upwards in a wide range of Civil / Commercial Litigation matters who would be willing and capable of playing a major role within the firm. although the ideal candidate for this position would be a litigation or disputes solicitor who is 3 PQE, candidates with any level of experience will also be considered.
The firms’ present standing is excellent and you should be competent to develop and help maintain these standards generally.
If you fit the above criteria and are looking for a new challenge in your career, contact our HR Department in strict confidence by sending a cover letter (with salary expectations) and copy of your CV – in English – to Italy@giambronelaw.com
